To Everyone,
It is with much regret that we must announce the end of Stolid. The past 2 years have been great and have meant so much to each of us. We appreciate all the support from every single person who ever came to a show, bought a CD or T-shirt or helped us out in any way. This is a mutual decision between all of us and there is no bad blood whatsoever. We just feel at this point due to many things in our lives the split is necessary. We are proud of what you helped us accomplish and are humbled by every oppurtunity this experience has afforded us.
Its impossible to thank every person who helped us out but we'd like to give a special thanks to the following:

Hello All,
We know you've been going stir crazy all winter wishing to hear Stolid live once again. Alas......a light at the end of the tunnel
Stolid will be playing Saturday Feb 2 at the Lincoln Inn in Essex supporting our good pal Ed Devarney's band Run For Cover and sharing the stage with other great pals and local acts Nowhere Found and When Heroes Die.
Here's the deal...its a whole lotta rock for the cost of a cup of coffee. Run For Cover's show is free and ours is a $2 cover.
Show starts at 830. When Heroes Die will be starting the evening off and Nowhere Found and Stolid will be playing during the breaks in Run For Cover's set.
All Ages! That means bring your parents. If they don't like our stuff then we promise that they will love Run For Cover's set which ranges from the 50's through the present.
We won't be playing any more shows for some time after this so come and see us while you can! We'd love to see as many of you as possible!

We realize this is long overdue. Our video summarizing the events of our recent summer tour is up, so please take a look and tell us what you think. We had a great time on the road, as is evidenced in the video. We played with some great bands, and met some great people, but we also missed our fans at home. Hello All,
Just wanted to give you a quick shout to let you know what we are up to lately.
After more than 30 shows in the past 8 months, we all feel that we've accomplished more than
we ever imagined we would/could when we first got together to play 18 months ago.
Our debut album, huge release party, multiple Higher Ground shows, and a summer tour stretching across the
northeast. Right now we are starting to cut back on shows, concentrating instead on writing
new material for a possible full length future album.
As for the next few that we do have scheduled, we hope to see you there. We are
looking forward for our gig in New York City next weekend, and Capone's Bar with WFAM in November.
We have also just confirmed an appearance on WCAX's Late Night
Saturday with Tim Kavanagh in January. Super excited about that. You'll be able to see Stolid on CBS on a
Saturday night in mid January! If you would like to come to the taping, tickets are free and available at

Wow, I just realized we haven't really been updating this page as often as we should.
We hope to get everything up and running shortly including some pics and more info.
We have been constantly updating our Myspace though with a blog after every show from Ben.
After last night's Higher Ground show, we want to let each and every one of you know that we appreciate you guys coming out to shows so much.
The energy coming from you guys singing, bobbing, screaming, dancing, headbanging or whatever you choose to do while we play, keeps us going.
Last night was one of the those nights where the stars, moon, sun and planets align.
An amazing crowd, an amazing group of bands, an amazing sound system, an amazing venue and us playing hard for you guys hopefully made the show as enjoyable for all of you as it did for us.
We have to give another absolutely necessary shout out and thank you to Megan Beaucage for lending us her amazing voice for 6 minutes.
Again thank you so much and we'll see you all at our next show, which as of now isn't completely scheduled. We are heading on the road for a week in August so we'll probably see you all in early September.
